Raihan Khan
Raihan Khan is a technology entrepreneur. He is the founder of e-GP Bangla and also of Chakri Bangla, Visa Bangla and ABCL Tech. He has more than a decade of hands-on experience building software for government digital projects, and has worked on e-GP tenders since the first day of e-GP in Bangladesh. Making complex information and processes simple and accessible to everyone is the common goal behind each of his ventures.
Education & Experience
Raihan Khan graduated with First Class in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) from North South University. Starting with web design in 2015, he has built hands-on experience step by step over more than a decade: software development, systems analysis, system architecture and leading the IT teams of several government projects.
Through his work on national-level government and international digital projects, he has gained practical experience in building and running large-scale systems: designing digital archives and data-preservation systems for historically important records, online classroom and training-management software, strengthening the digital capacity of government monitoring and evaluation systems, and implementing e-Government systems for ministries and European Union-funded initiatives.
His most relevant experience for e-GP Bangla is in public procurement. Since the first day of e-GP in Bangladesh he has worked on technical specifications, budget analysis and contract management for e-GP tenders, and he has completed government e-tendering training. That experience is where e-GP Bangla began.
He keeps his skills current through regular training: advanced training in software architecture, cloud, agile and artificial intelligence, a PMI-authorised PMP exam-prep course and ISO 14001:2015 Internal Auditor certification. He holds an IELTS band 7. More recently he has been doing independent research on trustworthy, human-centred artificial intelligence, in particular hallucination measurement in large language models, retrieval-augmented generation and natural language processing for low-resource Bangla.
Why e-GP Bangla
Working on e-GP tenders, Raihan kept seeing the same problem: the daily search burden contractors and consultants face. Hundreds of tender notices are published on the national e-GP portal every day, but limited filters, a dated interface and no saved searches make relevant opportunities hard to find, especially for small and medium firms that cannot afford a dedicated procurement team.
He founded e-GP Bangla to close that gap: a public discovery platform that brings the national e-GP portal's notices into one searchable interface, with filtering by ministry, division, agency, district, procurement nature, type and method. The goal is simple: every eligible bidder, small or large, should have equal and open access to government procurement opportunities.

Alongside his professional work, Raihan Khan has founded four digital ventures. Each shares the same aim: to make a complex subject simple, reliable and available to everyone in Bangla.
